What private label means at Bluestar
Private label means we manufacture belts to your brand, your design and your specification — you sell them as your own. We handle leather sourcing, hardware, prototyping, sampling and serial production from our Belgian facility in Melle.
We work with established fashion houses, accessory labels and corporate gifting programs across Europe. Every belt ships with your buckle, your logo, your packaging — and a full LWG-certified leather origin trail.

What's the minimum order for a private label belt run?
Private label MOQ depends on the material. For stock leather, the minimum is 150 pieces per model (min. 75 per colour). For custom or non-stock leather, the tannery MOQ applies.
Can you produce under our existing brand identity?
Yes. We work with your buckle dies, your packaging, your embossing and your colour spec. Nothing in the finished product carries our name.
Where does the leather come from?
European tanneries — primarily Italy, Spain and France — all LWG-certified. We can share Leather Working Group reports for any production run.
How long from design to delivery?
Belt production runs 2 to 5 months after order confirmation and approved sample, depending on leather lead time and order volume.
What is the MOQ for white-label belts?
White-label MOQ depends on the material. For stock leather, the minimum is 150 pieces per model (min. 75 per colour). For non-stock leather, the tannery MOQ applies.
How does sampling work and how long does it take?
We produce a physical prototype before production. Sampling typically takes 1 to 6 weeks depending on whether we use stock components or have to source new leather and hardware. Sampling is quoted separately and credited against larger orders.
How is intellectual property protected?
Designs, patterns, custom buckles and branding remain your property. We sign NDAs on request and never resell client-specific designs.
